The Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE) presents its national conference: Move the Nation with Adult Education: A Hybrid [In-Person & Virtual] Experience

The American Educational Research Association's 2022 Annual Meeting will take place in San Diego, CA, April 21-26, 2022. The theme is "Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century."

We’re harnessing the power of educators through an EdTech Maker Space to locate and curate high-quality Open Educational Resources (OER) that align to these Teaching Skills That Matter topic areas: Civics, Health Literacy, Financial Literacy, and Workplace Readiness. TSTM is an initiative led by our partners the American Institutes for Research and funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education with the goal of supporting instruction of transferable 21 Century skills. During this info session, join us to hear more about the research study behind this project, what participants can expect to learn and create, and the project logistics.

The Stakes are High. With a lower labor force participation rate than before the pandemic and almost 11 million job openings, we've got to reimagine workforce and how we deliver services. But reimagining service delivery by enhancing virtual and hybrid services isn't the only answer. Join NAWDP for the 38th Annual Conference May 16-18, 2022 in Las Vegas to learn about best practices and strategies on how we can reimagine workforce by raising the bar for the skill sets of workforce professionals, looking at how our workforce programs are funded, new ways to determine our purpose in the communities we serve, and creating new workforce partnerships.

The conference features over 100 presentations and workshops that explore how organizations and practitioners can collaborate to build instructional capacity and deliver innovative, effective services that benefit adult learners.
