CREATE Adult Skills Network
Our Work
“Technology-enabled instruction” uses online tools and methods to make learning available to a wide population of learners. It holds promise as a way for adults to have better access to high-quality learning both in and out of the classroom.
The CREATE Adult Skills Network facilitates the development, adoption, and evaluation of technology-supported interventions to build adult foundational skills and academic attainment. The six Network-affiliated research projects focus on a variety of approaches to using technology to improve or measure adult skills development.
Our Approach
Collaboration - The Network brings together researchers and adult education stakeholders, like instructors and policy makers, to develop and share best practices in technology-supported interventions.
Knowledge Building - The Network research teams conduct studies to better understand how to develop and use technology to support adult learning.
Dissemination - Through its wide array of partners, the Network shares research updates with the field to promote improvements in the use of technology-enabled instruction for adult learners.
