Participate in the ASAP Pilot!

ASAP LogoHelp shape the future of assessments for adults.

As part of the IES-funded Adult Skills Assessment Program (ASAP), the University of Massachusetts Amherst is piloting short math and reading assessments for adult learners.  Currently, learners can take:

  • The ASAP Math Pilot Placement Assessment
  • ASAP Math Assessments associated with selected CALM units
  • ASAP Reading Assessments associated with SkillBlox
  • ASAP Math assessments for students interested in semiconductor training programs
  • ASAP assessments for workers in the strawberry harvesting industry

We are inviting teachers and learners to tryout these assessments and give us feedback on what they like and what they would like to see improved.  Learners and teachers will get immediate feedback, and can even see the items they took, the correct answers for those items, and on the CALM assessments, there is also feedback to understand the correct and incorrect responses.

To take one or more assessments, please visit www.asap.umass.edu, and use the password ASAP2024.  The QR code will also take you to the login page.

For questions or to provide feedback, contact UMass Professor Stephen Sireci at sireci@umass.edu.
