As a part of AEFL week, we’re sharing our top five resources throughout the week! For our third resource, we’re sharing the Digital Skills Frameworks and Assessments: A Foundation for Understanding Adult Learners’ Strengths and Learning Needs brief! CREATE research teams are developing technology-supported learning and assessment tools and implementing curricula to help adult learners build digital skills and noted the importance of gaining a better understanding of the digital skills learners need.
This brief introduces popular frameworks and assessment strategies that have been developed specifically for use with adult learner audiences. Each is designed to be used in various ways and settings. They include diverse resources to help instructors use technology to support adult learning to meet individual learners’ needs.
